UNICGLOBAL ENGINEERING LTD ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") is engaged in the development and operation of QRGate, a QR code generation and management service. We manage and maintain the QRGate mobile application and website (collectively, the "Services").
We are committed to respecting and safeguarding your privacy and ensuring that our handling of personal information is transparent, fair, and in accordance with applicable data protection laws. This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") provides information about how we collect, process, store, and disclose your personal data when you interact with our Services.
This Policy applies to all users who access or use our Services. Please review this Policy carefully. If you do not accept the terms of this Policy, you should refrain from using our Services.
We may collect information about you through the following means:
Account Details: We support both guest usage and account-based usage. In guest mode, we generate/store a technical app account token for ownership and continuity. In account mode, we collect email credentials (and, when enabled, social login identity data) required for authentication and account recovery.
QR Code Data: We collect and store QR code configurations created by you, including the type of QR code, target URL or content, and design settings (colors, patterns, logo).
Usage and Device Data: We automatically gather technical and behavioral information, including session logs, IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, and how you interact with the Services.
Scan Logs: When QR codes are scanned, we collect scan logs including timestamp, result (redirected/invalid/paused), IP address (if provided by the network), user-agent, and optional country header.
Payment Data: Web subscription payments are processed by Stripe and we do not store full card details on our servers. For iOS in-app subscriptions, payment processing is handled by Apple App Store. We may receive transaction confirmations, billing status, and subscription metadata from these providers.
Customer Support: If you contact us, we collect the information you provide, including your email address and message content.
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
For web billing, we process account and subscription metadata necessary to create checkout sessions, maintain subscription lifecycle, handle renewals/cancellations, and provide billing support. For App Store subscriptions, we process Apple transaction metadata and server notifications used to validate entitlements.
